The Bob Livingston Trio

Le 61 accueille, jeudi 19 novembre 2009 à 20h, The Bob Livingston Trio.

Le chanteur d’Austin, Texas, et ses musiciens sont en tournée mondiale. En transit en France après leurs concerts européens et à la veille de leur départ en Afrique, The Bob Livingston Trio donne au 61 son unique concert parisien.

Singer, songwriter, and performer Bob Livingston bridges cultural barriers around the world with his unique and innovative musical vision. An engaging raconteur, he is renowned for drawing audiences of all nationalities into his performance through his songs, stories, and ingenuous humor.
Currently living in Austin, Texas, Livingston has never been a traditional Texas country musician living the honky-tonk life even though he has spent more than his share of time on the roadhouse circuit with some of Texas’ most colorful musicians.
In 1974, Livingston co-founded the Lost Gonzo Band. Rolling Stone called the Gonzo’s self titled debut record on MCA, « one of the best albums to ever come out of Austin ».
Livingston’s latest solo CD release, « Mahatma Gandhi & Sitting Bull » made the Austin American-Statesman’s « Top Ten of 2004 ».
Livingston has toured in 25 countries, played on over 60 nationally released records and has written hundreds of songs including a million selling rap song.
For this whirlwind international tour, Livingston has enlisted two of Austin’s finest musicians, Richard Bowden and Bradley Kopp. Both are members of Livingston’s groundbreaking multi-cultural group, Cowboys & Indians.
The Bob Livingston Trio gives a unique, fun and high-energy performance, strong on audience participation, virtuoso playing and stellar vocal harmonies!
